We are a husband and wife team who walk gently with nature’s rhythms. At Higher Visions Mind And Body, we grow gourmet mushrooms for mental and physical wellness and handcraft tallow-based soaps, skin balm, and lip balm using only pure, natural ingredients.
Tired of the artificial alternatives society offers, we turned to growing our own gourmet mushrooms for natural energy, focus, and wellness. At the same time, frustrated with harsh detergents and synthetic chemicals in conventional soaps and skincare, we began to explore other options.
We had been hearing about the benefits of tallow for some time. Both our son and ourselves were struggling with dry skin — his with eczema, and ours just feeling consistently dry and mediocre, often needing an abundance of lotion.
One day at the local farmer’s market, we purchased a tallow-based soap, skin balm, and lip balm. When we tried them, we were amazed by how soft and nourished our skin felt. It was only then that we truly realized how dry our skin had been before.
